THE HISTORY OF GINSENG

Ginseng possesses unique active ingredients through plant saponins called ginsenosides. After their discovery in the 20th century, ginsenosides have gained a vast amount of traction - resulting in over 5,000 published clinical and research studies to date.

Il Hwa’s research has revealed that Ginseng has many other key ingredients in addition to ginsenosides which work in combination to contribute to the plant's effectiveness. These are phenols, lipids, 18 essential fatty acids, 6 vitamins, 7 amino acids, 8 essential amino acids, fatty acids, and 18 minerals, including organic germanium and polyacetylene.

Western science now accepts ginseng as an adaptogen; a term meaning the herb helps to increase the body’s resistance to stresses such as trauma, fatigue and illness. Most importantly, it has been shown to help restore the body’s natural, homeostatic balance.

WHY IL HWA CREATES THE WORLD'S LEADING GINSENG EXTRACT

Il Hwa uses whole root processing, without peeling, as well as utilising its own proprietary low heat vacuum extraction technology to ensure the maximum levels of active ingredients are retained in the final extract.

The roots are harvested at the optimum time of between 4 to 5 years which is in contrast to most other companies who use roots harvested from 6 years, which is more fibrous and possesses less ginsenoside density and balance.

WHY GINST 15 IS THE ADVANCED SOLUTION FOR THE 21ST CENTURY

Il Hwa science discovered that ginsenosides are absorbed in the lower intestine. For many people this meant poor absorption and less efficacy.

We therefore began research to a create Ginseng extract which would deliver a much higher, more consistent, and faster absorption in the human body. From this, Il Hwa have since developed a proprietary fermentation process to solve the problem.

The result, GinST 15: The Ginseng with 15 times greater absorption and 4 times faster absorption.
